Settlement Funds
Unless you have a valid job offer in Canada or are working in Canada on a work permit, you must prove you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you arrive. IRCC publishes minimum amounts by family size (updated yearly). Funds must be available and transferable.
FSW vs CEC
FSW uses international work experience; CEC uses Canadian work experience. Both enter the same Express Entry pool and are ranked by CRS. CEC often has more frequent draws. VMC helps you determine which program fits your profile and how to maximize your CRS.
