What We Cover
Special measures (or public policies) are temporary immigration programs or exemptions announced by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in response to humanitarian crises, conflicts, or other global events. They may offer extended status, work or study permits, or pathways to permanent residence for people from affected countries or regions.
Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel - current status, extensions, work/study permits, pathway to PR.
Special measures for residents of Gaza and the West Bank - family reunification and temporary residence options.
Public policy for Iranian nationals - temporary residence and family reunification measures.
Measures for those affected by the situation in Sudan. Check IRCC for current programs.
Measures for Haitian nationals. Check IRCC for current programs.
Each program has specific eligibility (e.g. citizenship, residence, family in Canada). IRCC publishes details for each measure. We can review your situation and explain which programs may apply and what documents you need.
We have assisted clients under various special measures. We stay updated on IRCC announcements and can help you understand current options, prepare applications, and navigate extensions or pathways to PR where available.
